Hey Gang,
This past weekend was Amazing – just ask anyone who went to Lake Champion with us – and so much happened; almost too much to cram into one weekend. As we continue to journey through what went on this past weekend, remember that it will take time and effort to work through all the emotions and thoughts that were stirred through the retreat. That being said, i know i tend to come away from trips like this aching to work through and being done with everything; and forgot that God brings me through life as a journey, not a series of SATs i have to study for.
Don’t forget that PBBK is a great place to process out what God is doing in your life. And again, after a look break, we will be having YG this Sunday!
But also don’t forget, God is at work in us, and will keep working in us until the end of time. So what is he doing in our lives? And to what is he saying, “it’s time…?”

Hey Everyone!
Ok so we’ve all noted the past weeks we’ve missed PBBK, and enjoyed the snowy scenery, however, enough is enough and that’s enough! The weather report says we’re going to have another attack of Mr. Winter Tue into Wed, and while I love snow, and enjoy the rest it brings – I want to have PBBK!!!!! This week Jimmy is bringing Romans 6! And it’s going to be Amazing!!!! So just keep an eye out on the weather and look here at the blog to see if we have to cancel again.
We are also coming up to the 30 Hour Famine! Yes, we’re doing it this year! It’s going to be awesome! If you want to be involved in 30HF this year, we’ll need a signed parent’s permission slip delivered to us at LHCYouth; and then we’ll give you your pledge sheet. Well gang, another week goes by, and another one begins. This week, we have the honor of serving! I know it sounds funny to say, but it’s true; we get to partake in something Jesus believed was vital to our spiritual walk. How cool is that? Just to make sure you guys don’t worry to much, we wont be washing everyone’s feet. Now that we have that out of the way, let me explain how you can be a part of this service project.
This Sunday, right after second service, we’ll be serving Lunch to the parents of anyone connected with LHCyouth – and any other children they bring too – in our ‘Cafe De Youth’ in the Fellowship Hall. It will be a all out Lunch, with desert, that they will have ordered from the menu that will be provided. It is going to be awesome!
If you are a student in LHCYouth, we’d love for you to help out as we all say thank you to your parents. If you are a parent, and have a student in LHCYouth, we would love to serve you Lunch to say thank you for all the hard work you do. Please let us know if you are going to be attending, either to help or to eat, by emailing either Deb (Deb@LHCyouth.com), or me (Matt@LHCyouth.com).
Also, if you are helping, we will be meeting this Saturday – the 22nd – in fellowship hall from 2-4pm to prep the food, assign positions, and to go over some info for the following day.

Well gang, its another week! I don’t know about you, but time seems to be flying for me already, with things to do and places to be; this really will be a seemingly fast semester! I am confident that God is going to do amazing things here this year, whether fast or slow to us, it really will be a great time of growth.
This past sunday we looked at how God loves us and asks us to join in his story, on our good days and our bad days – And the fact that God’s love for us doesn’t change, even when Our love does.
And as always, we have PBBK on wednsday nights, a great time to dive into the word of God and ask hard questions. Aslo a the time we spend in small groups at PBBK are possing to be the safe place and time in the middle of the week.

Well gang, the year is now 2011, and with the new year comes resolutions and promises about everything. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve already heard from that are doing the new diet or work out this year, most of which I expect to not last through the month; but that’s neither here nor there. For this new year at LHC Youth, we are doing everything new! New cast, new building, new students, new – I’m just kidding! But really, we are looking for an amazing year with you guys! The Lord is going to do great things this year, as he does every year when we stay in stride with him.
First, we want to kick this year off with a thank you to all our parents in LHC Youth. We are having a Parent’s Luncheon on January 23rd (that’s a Sunday) starting at 12:30pm, for all the parents who are connected with LHC Youth. A chance for all of us to thank of all you for everything you do.
Both JRBS and SRBS are still going to be meeting at 9am on Sundays, and working through scripture and God’s lessons together. We hope this is a place where students may come and feel welcomed, and feel they may ask questions without worry about being judged. And finally in 24:7, iT, and PBBK we get to minister to each other and have God minister to all of us.
We are looking forward to a great year at LHC Youth! I hope that you are just as excited as I am for this New Year – this new month – this new day that the Lord has Made!
