It’s here…
The highlight event of our summer for our Junior Highers…
JUNIOR HIGH CAMP 2009!!!

Our theme for this year is “Road Rules” and if want to know more about the weekend, head to the downloads page or just click on the pic below and it’ll take you there so you can download your copy of the registration for this years trip. With a top notch band and two extra days, it’s going to be AMAZING!! if you have any questions, feel free to email pastor jimmy via the contact page.
And make sure you mark down in your calendar June 6th. It’s the day of our COMPLETELY FREE CAR WASH! this tends to be our biggest fundraiser of the year…both for our summer trips and the ministry as whole…you are going to want to miss it! it’ll help a ton with the costs of JHC & Mexico.

well day 1 is in the books~ after a CRAZY night of people coming in in waves, snow coming in sheets, and the Holy Spirit coming in power.
after some time playing games and relaxing, we had our 1st session…focused around the idea that “Grace Meets You Right Where You’re At.” we’ve been diving into John 4 and just being ministered to by the Word. It’s been awesome…then we’ve been paralleling that to the movie “Bella”…been really cool~
i’ll try to update through out the day as we go…thanks for the prayers!!

i totally need to commend those of you who prayed for snow, because it looks like we’re gonna get some:)
the only problem is that it’s coming a day late…if it came today we’d totally be sledding and snowball fighting out in PA…but since it’s supposed to come all day tomorrow, we’re at a serious lose. it’s looks as though the retreat at Harmony Heart Camp has to be reworked a little…
SOOO…we’ve figured out a way to have all the groups meet here at LHC and put the retreat on here!! HOW SWEET IS THAT?! we didn’t just want to up and cancel everything b/c we know how much we’ve all been looking forward this weekend…so we are reworking the whole thing! it’s going to be TOTALLY AWESOME…
here’s the new details…ready?:
arrive @ LHCgym: 6pm (or whatever time is safest for you)
what to pack: same stuff as befrore + LOTS of snow clothes…since we know we’ve got it outside…we gotta make use of it (working on some fun outside stuff:))
what not to pack: cell phones, iPods, mp3 players, personal video game systems~
pick-up will be @ LHCgym @ 10pm on Saturday night so we avoid the next wave of snow on Sunday~
if you have any questions, email me from the contact page and i’ll get back to you as soon as i can!
can’t wait to retreat with you all this weekend:)
